Anti-Spam Policy

Seedicon Events & Seedicon CRM | Effective Date: 1 June 2026 | Version 1.0

Seedicon Technologies Private Limited has a zero-tolerance policy against spam. This Anti-Spam Policy applies to all communications sent through or in connection with the Seed Events and Seedicon CRM platform, including email campaigns, WhatsApp broadcasts, in-app messages, and any other channel facilitated by the Platform.

1. Definition of spam

For purposes of this policy, spam includes:

  • Unsolicited bulk email or messages sent to recipients who have not provided opt-in consent
  • Repeated messages sent to the same recipient after an opt-out request
  • Messages with misleading, deceptive, or falsified sender information
  • Messages with no legitimate business purpose relative to the relationship between sender and recipient
  • Automated messages sent via scripts, bots, or third-party tools that circumvent Platform rate limits
  • Phishing messages or messages containing malicious links or attachments

2. What users must do

  • Obtain clear, documented opt-in consent from each recipient before adding them to any mailing or broadcast list
  • Honour all opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly and permanently
  • Use accurate sender identification and subject lines
  • Include valid contact details and a physical address in every marketing message
  • Never use purchased, rented, or scraped email lists
  • Never send the same message repeatedly to the same recipient
  • Never use email addresses harvested from the Platform without individual consent

3. Prohibited sending practices

  • Sending to distribution lists, forum addresses, or role-based addresses (e.g. info@, admin@) without specific individual consent
  • Using dynamic content to create artificially unique messages to evade spam filters
  • Forging email headers, DKIM signatures, or DMARC records
  • Piggybacking on another sender's sending reputation
  • Using URL shorteners to obscure destination links in messages
  • Sending messages that trigger commercial advertising, multi-level marketing, or pyramid scheme content

4. CAN-SPAM compliance (United States recipients)

For messages sent to recipients in the United States, all campaigns must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Key requirements:

  • No false or misleading header information
  • No deceptive subject lines
  • Clear identification that the message is an advertisement (where applicable)
  • Valid physical postal address of the sender
  • Clear opt-out mechanism in every message
  • Opt-out requests honoured within 10 business days

5. GDPR compliance (EEA and UK recipients)

For messages to recipients in the European Economic Area or UK:

  • Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous
  • Consent records must be maintained and producible on request
  • Right to withdraw consent must be as easy as the right to give it
  • Soft opt-in (existing customer relationship) is permissible only for similar products or services

6. India DPDP Act 2023 compliance

For messages to recipients in India:

  • Digital personal data (including email addresses) may only be processed with explicit consent or another lawful basis
  • Data principals have the right to withdraw consent at any time
  • Data fiduciaries (you, as the sender) must maintain records of consent

7. WhatsApp-specific anti-spam rules

  • All WhatsApp messages must use Meta-approved Business Message Templates
  • Messages may only be sent to users who have opted in via a compliant mechanism
  • Free-form WhatsApp messages (outside the 24-hour customer service window) are not permitted for marketing
  • Broadcasting to non-opted-in numbers may result in immediate account suspension and referral to Meta for review

8. Enforcement

Accounts found to be sending spam will have their messaging capabilities suspended immediately. The Company cooperates with anti-spam bodies, ISPs, and relevant authorities. We may disclose sender information to law enforcement or regulators where required. Repeat or severe offenders will be permanently banned and may be reported to applicable authorities under the Information Technology Act 2000, CAN-SPAM Act, or applicable law.

9. Reporting spam

To report spam originating from the Platform, email support@seedicon.com with the original message headers and content. We investigate all reports within 48 hours.
