Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy governs refunds and cancellations for ticket purchases made through the Seed Events platform and subscription plans purchased for Seedicon CRM features. Please read this policy before completing any purchase.
1. Event ticket refunds
Event cancelled by organiser
If an organiser cancels an event, all registered attendees will receive a full refund of the ticket price paid. Refunds are processed automatically to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Platform fees, if any, are also refunded in full for organiser-initiated cancellations.
Event postponed by organiser
If an organiser postpones an event to a new date, attendees will be notified by email and in-app notification. Attendees who cannot attend the new date may request a full refund within 7 days of the postponement announcement. After this window, the ticket remains valid for the new date.
Attendee-initiated cancellation
Refund eligibility for attendee-initiated cancellations is subject to the refund policy set by the individual organiser for that event. Organisers must publish their refund policy on the event listing before tickets go on sale. Common configurations include:
- Full refund if cancelled more than 7 days before the event
- 50% refund if cancelled 3 to 7 days before the event
- No refund within 48 hours of the event
Where no refund policy is specified by the organiser, the default policy is a full refund if requested more than 72 hours before the event start time.
Non-attendance (no-show)
Failing to attend an event without cancelling does not entitle the attendee to a refund unless the event was cancelled or significantly altered by the organiser.
2. Subscription plan refunds
Seedicon CRM Pro and Enterprise subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months already paid. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Annual plans: a pro-rated refund for unused complete months may be requested within 14 days of the annual payment date. After 14 days, no refund is issued for the remaining period.
- Free trial periods: no charge is applied during a free trial. Cancellation during a trial incurs no fee.
To cancel your subscription, go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan within the app. Cancellation stops future billing but does not delete your data.
3. Processing refunds
All approved refunds are returned to the original payment instrument (card, UPI, net banking) used at checkout. Refund timelines:
- Credit or debit card: 5 to 7 business days
- UPI: 1 to 3 business days
- Net banking: 3 to 5 business days
These timelines are subject to your bank's processing times, which may vary. We initiate all refunds within 2 business days of approval.
4. How to request a refund
For event ticket refunds: go to My Tickets > Select ticket > Request Refund, or email support@seedicon.com with your booking reference. For subscription refunds: email legal@seedicon.com with your account email and the reason for your request.
5. Disputes
If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied, contact support@seedicon.com within 14 days of the decision. We will review the case within 5 business days and communicate our final determination. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated per our Terms of Service.
6. Platform fees
Where Seedicon charges a platform fee on paid ticket sales, this fee is non-refundable in the event of an attendee-initiated cancellation unless the event itself is cancelled by the organiser.
