Community Guidelines

Seedicon Events & Seedicon CRM | Effective Date: 1 June 2026 | Version 1.0

These Community Guidelines apply to all community spaces on the Seed Events platform, including community pages, event feeds, announcement posts, member discussions, and any user-generated content submitted through the Platform. By participating, you agree to these guidelines.

1. Our community values

Seed Events is a professional networking platform built around real-world relationships. Our community spaces are designed for event discovery, organiser-attendee communication, and professional community building. We expect all participants to engage with honesty, respect, and purpose.

2. What we encourage

Sharing genuine event announcements, updates, and recaps that add value to the community
Constructive discussion relevant to the event or community topic
Professional introductions and networking that are transparent about intent
Asking and answering questions that help attendees and organisers succeed
Sharing insights, learnings, or resources relevant to the community's focus area
Providing honest, constructive feedback to organisers

3. What is not allowed

Spam and promotional abuse

Posting the same content repeatedly across multiple communities or events
Promoting external products, services, or events without being a verified organiser of that community
Posting affiliate links, referral codes, or commercial solicitations without organiser approval
Cross-posting unrelated announcements to communities you did not create

Harmful and offensive content

Hate speech, slurs, or content that demeans individuals based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any other protected characteristic
Threatening, harassing, or bullying other members in any form
Content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors
Graphic violence, gore, or content intended to disturb

Misinformation and deception

Publishing false event details, fabricated speaker profiles, or misleading venue information
Impersonating another individual, organisation, or brand
Making false claims about endorsements, partnerships, or affiliations
Using fake accounts or coordinated inauthentic behaviour to inflate engagement

Privacy violations

Sharing another person's personal information (name, contact details, photo) without their consent
Recording or photographing event attendees without their knowledge or consent
Re-posting private messages or communications from the Platform without consent

4. Organiser responsibilities

Community admins and event organisers bear additional responsibility for the spaces they manage. Organisers must:

Moderate their community feeds and remove content that violates these guidelines
Respond to attendee queries and feedback in a timely and professional manner
Not use community tools to send irrelevant or excessive communications to members
Disclose conflicts of interest, sponsorships, or commercial relationships in their posts
Ensure their community description and categories accurately reflect the community's purpose

5. Content moderation

The Company reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines, without prior notice. Repeated or severe violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform. We may use automated tools and human review to detect violations. Users may appeal moderation decisions by emailing support@seedicon.com within 14 days of the action.

6. Reporting content

Use the 'Report' button available on all posts and profiles to flag content that violates these guidelines. You may also email support@seedicon.com. We review all reports and aim to respond within 48 hours.

7. Intellectual property in community posts

By posting content to community feeds, you grant Seedicon a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the Platform. You retain ownership of your content. Do not post content that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

8. Updates

These guidelines may be updated to reflect evolving community needs or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Contact: support@seedicon.com
