Event Organiser Terms

Seedicon Events & Seedicon CRM | Effective Date: 1 June 2026 | Version 1.0

These Event Organiser Terms ('Organiser Terms') apply to all users who create and publish events on the Seedicon Events platform ('Organisers'). These terms supplement the general Terms of Service and govern your specific rights and obligations as an event organiser. By creating an event on the Platform, you agree to these Organiser Terms.

1. Eligibility to host events

To host events on the Platform, you must: be at least 18 years of age; have a verified account with a valid email address; agree to these Organiser Terms and the general Terms of Service; and, where you are collecting payment for tickets, have a verified Razorpay-linked bank account in the name of the organising entity.

You may host events on behalf of a company, organisation, or institution provided you have authority to bind that entity. You remain personally liable for compliance with these Organiser Terms.

2. Creating and publishing events

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your event listing, including:

  • Event title, description, and category
  • Date, time, time zone, and venue (or virtual event link)
  • Speaker, performer, or facilitator information
  • Ticket types, prices, and availability
  • Refund and cancellation policy
  • Any age restrictions, entry requirements, or health and safety conditions

Events must not be published in a misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent manner. We reserve the right to review, reject, modify, or remove any event listing that violates these Organiser Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or Community Guidelines.

3. Your obligations to attendees

  • Deliver the event as described. Material changes (venue, date, speaker lineup) must be communicated to all registered attendees immediately via the Platform's broadcast tools.
  • Honour your stated refund and cancellation policy. If you cancel an event, you must process full refunds to all ticketed attendees within 5 business days.
  • Not collect or use attendee data for purposes beyond managing the event and communicating relevant follow-up, without attendee consent.
  • Comply with all applicable laws governing events in the jurisdiction where the event is held, including venue permits, safety regulations, liquor licensing, and data protection law.
  • Not discriminate in access or treatment of attendees on the basis of race, gender, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

4. Ticket sales and payments

Ticket payments are processed via Razorpay. As an organiser, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service in addition to these Organiser Terms. Key payment terms:

  • Platform fee: the Company charges a platform fee on paid ticket sales as published on the Pricing page. This fee is deducted before organiser payouts.
  • Payout timing: organiser payouts are initiated within T+2 business days of each successful ticket sale, subject to Razorpay's processing schedule.
  • Cancelled events: you must instruct us to issue full refunds to all attendees within 24 hours of cancellation. If you fail to do so, the Company may initiate refunds and recover the amounts from future payouts or directly from you.
  • Chargebacks: you are responsible for any chargebacks arising from your events. The Company may hold funds pending chargeback resolution.
  • Tax compliance: you are solely responsible for collecting and remitting GST, income tax, or any other applicable taxes on ticket sales. Seedicon does not provide tax advice.

5. Attendee data and GDPR / DPDP Act compliance

When you collect attendee registration data through the Platform, you become the data controller for that data. Your obligations include:

  • Disclose in your event listing how attendee data will be used
  • Use attendee data only for purposes disclosed at registration and for managing the event
  • Not share, sell, or transfer attendee data to third parties without consent
  • Honour data subject access, correction, and deletion requests from attendees
  • Not retain attendee data beyond the period necessary for the event and any lawful follow-up

The Company processes attendee data on your behalf as a data processor. See the Data Processing Agreement for details of your controller obligations.

6. Prohibited event types

The following events may not be hosted on the Platform:

  • Events promoting illegal activity, including the sale of unlicensed or controlled substances
  • Events that constitute fraud, pyramid schemes, or unlicensed financial product promotion
  • Events organised by entities on international sanctions lists
  • Events that promote hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any group
  • Events that exploit or endanger minors
  • Events promoting extremist ideologies or terrorist organisations

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of event content you create (descriptions, images, videos). By publishing on the Platform, you grant Seedicon a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote your event within the Platform and on our marketing channels. You represent that your content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

8. Organiser liability and indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seedicon, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, or losses arising from: your event, its content, or its operation; your breach of these Organiser Terms; your violation of any applicable law; any claim by an attendee arising from your event; or any chargeback, tax liability, or regulatory action related to your ticket sales.

9. Suspension and removal

We may suspend or remove your organiser access if you breach these Organiser Terms, fail to deliver events, receive sustained negative attendee feedback, generate excessive chargebacks, or violate our Acceptable Use Policy or Community Guidelines. In cases of fraud or serious harm to attendees, we may suspend access without prior notice.

10. Changes to these terms

We will provide 14 days' notice of material changes. Continued use of organiser features constitutes acceptance. Contact: legal@seedicon.com
